Our Paleo

Paleo can mean different things to different people.  I have noticed that the paleo community seems prone to self-experimentation, and the results of that experimentation leads to a paleo lifestyle that is unique for everyone. 

What Paleo Means to Us

We will not eat:
  • Grains
  • Legumes
  • Dairy
  • Soy products
  • Sugar
  • Corn

We love to eat:
  • Animals, grass-fed/pastured when possible
  • Eggs
  • Vegetables
  • Coconut (oil, butter, milk, flakes, love it all!)
  • Fruit & nuts, not a staple but on occasion

Normally we drink...
  • Water
  • Herbal tea

Sometimes we indulge in...
  • Wine
  • Liquor
  • Beer, not very often on this one due to the gluten factor

We workout...
  • Experimenting with interval training
  • Barefoot running
  • Lifting heavy things

All of this makes us feel wonderful!  We are not perfect, sometimes we go to Roy’s for dinner and must have the gluten free molten chocolate souffl√©, but it is a rare occasion and does not deter us from our overall health and fitness goals.
